YV-Tech Hosts Roots to Wings Program, Inspires

PNWU’s Roots to Wings program visited YV-Tech to bring a glimpse of the health science opportunities available.
YV-Tech recently hosted 85 middle and high school students from across the region for their inaugural Roots to Wings Medical Camp, providing students an opportunity to explore the wealth of health programs offered at their school.
This event, which is part of the Pacific Northwest University’s Roots to Wings program, consisted of 2.5-hour sessions and tours of YV-Tech’s campus, all led by YV-Tech students. Alongside their PNWU student doctor co-mentors, participants learned about the many options available to young minds interested in the health sciences.
