SEATech Skills Center students from both the Careers in Media and Entertainment & Criminal Justice programs traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, this summer to compete on the national stage in the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference with over 6000 other champions.
Peyton Badertscher, Cooper Nelson, and Raighlyn Lore had a strong showing, finishing in the top 20 while also earning their SkillsUSA Points Certification, deeming their skill levels in Crime Scene Investigation, meeting or exceeding the industry standards.
Ricky Lozano Competed in the Criminal Justice championships and finished 19th overall. Sarah Jousma and Soren Thompson finished in the top 15 in Digital Cinema Production, also earning their SkillsUSA Points Certifications.
