Students from the SEATech Criminal Justice Program recently showcased their talents at the SkillsUSA State Technical and Leadership Championships, held March 27-29 in the Tacoma area at Clover Park Technical College. Competing against top students from across the state, they demonstrated their career skills with the goal of earning a place at the National Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, this June.

Criminal Justice students competed in Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and various Leadership Division events, including Prepared Speech, Extemporaneous Speech, and Job Interview.

Several students earned medals for their outstanding performances:

Gold Medal – Crime Scene Investigation
•    Karli Tobin, Raighlyn Lore, and Francisco Villagomez
•    This team will advance to the National Championships in Atlanta.

Bronze Medal – Crime Scene Investigation
•    Armando Bacilio Hernandez, Elijah Wilson, and Yohanna Sanchez

Additionally, Karli Tobin was elected to a State Officer position, a prestigious leadership role she will begin in June while attending Nationals.
